You don't really want too much of that stuff anyway, it's sort of off-putting when you're overstocked with it, like people that all bubbly and cheery all the time. You know, the best way to deal with a funeral is to throw a "Fiesta" themed party fit with Margaritas, Maraca Shakers, Sombreros, and loud blasting "Mexican Polka" music (the kind with the repetitive bass in the background) I went to my great aunt's funeral when I was younger and this is how she planned it out. She left instructions to have streamers and a full on Mexican feast with Tamales, Tortillas, Beans, Rice, Guacamole, etc. MMMM.... That was the best funeral I have ever been to. Actually, Uncle Dan lived closer to the attractions than Tricia but it was a long drive between Boca &amp; Port St. Lucie.  What was said that day &lt;BR/&gt;was never meant to be repeated as I knew she had no idea how hurtful she was being. I have put it behind me and so should Michele. Hanging on to anger doesn't help anyone.  Enjoy the life you have and try to be kind to others especially when it would be easier to just ignore them. I've been down just like you; but because of world events, not family issues. I love my grandmother and I loved my grandfather and Uncle Dan when they were alive; and I love them still. The fact that they're dead dosen't mean I can't love them anymore.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;But hating someone even long after they're dead - that's just pointless. Nobody should let themselves be consumed by something like that. For the dying, death plays tricks on the mind as well. I hate it when I don't go to fun...</title><content type='html'>Well, that sucks. I hate it when I don't go to funerals for family. Granted, I hate funerals, but then there never seems to be closure. I keep forgetting the person is dead.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;As for your grandma, I understand how some rifts can't always be fixed. But when you know someone is going cookoo for Cocoa Puffs, that has to be taken into consideration. An old guy I know was always really mannerly and nice. But when he started getting Alzheimer's, he started being really mean to women, saying all Mexicans were stickyfingered, and just being an all-around jerk. But that wasn't his real personality. That was his brain dying. Even though it still made me mad, you just can't hold it against them. If I did, I've have butchered my grandfather years ago for the way he treats my mom. I just thank God every day I'm not old.
